This database is created by special programs called as spiders, robots or crawlers, which continuously search the web and updates and arranges database of search engine. Many search engines are available on web which searches the database of other search engines and displays the related links. Such search engines are called as meta search engines.

Ask.com was previously known ask Ask Jeeves. Its search results are based on question answering web format. It was founded in 1995. Here user can ask question and search engine integrates a large amount of archive data to answer the question. If Ask search engine do not have the answer than it takes help from third-party search engine.

Yahoo:

The Yahoo search engine can be used to find information on the internet based on the keywords you enter into Yahoo's search box. And the best thing about Yahoo is you can filter your results in many ways like you can refine your search results to see content based on when it was published on the web. You can filter search results by category also, this can be helpful if you are searching for content within a specific category.
