Job Description :

  1. Should have experience on Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and WLC.
  2. Should have strong technical expertise on Router, Switch, LAN, WAN troubleshooting
  3. Should be CCNA Certified at least.
  4. Establishing the networking environment as per configuration and directing network installation and documenting and enforcing network standards.
  5. The design and implementation of new solutions and improving the resilience of the current environment.
  6. Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
  7. Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
  8. Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
  9. The support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
  10. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
  11. Reporting network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
  12. Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
  13. The configuration of routing and switching equipment.
  14. The configuration of access points and configuration of SSID's and policies on WLC.
  15. The basic configuration of firewalls.
  16. Remote support of on-site engineers and end users customers during installation.
  17. Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
  18. Liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
  19. Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
  20. Experience working in a large complex networking environment is required Ability to handle complex network issues independently In depth knowledge and hands on experience in handling and Troubleshooting a network with static routing VRF and dynamic routing protocols ospf eigrp rip etc Handle and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst 6500 switches Nexus 7K Nexus 5K Possess sound knowledge with on hands on Switching Firewall VPN Wireless Load balancing ISE concepts Possess Handle and troubleshoot DC setup Cisco Firewall products Cisco ASA Palo Alto configured in high availability configuration mode Handle and Troubleshoot Route Based and IPSEC L2L tunnels configured on Cisco Routers Handle and Troubleshoot Network Load balancing and Reverse Proxy solutions implemented using Bluecoat proxy.
