How to troubleshoot No Display issue in Desktop PC

*Computer showing nothing on monitor,

*Monitor green light on but no display,

No display problem 

Sometimes the computer is started but nothing happens on the screen. I mean to say that the screen is visible only Black, it is called no display problem in technical language. In this problem, the monitor's LED is blinking but the display does not appear.

Possible Reasons 

1. RAM :-

This can also be a problem of Ram because the computer can not show a display without the RAM, if the RAM is defective then the computer does not show display.When the computer starts, the operating system loads itself in RAM only if there is some problem in the RAM, then the Operating system does not load and the computer does not show the display.

2. SMPS :-

It may be Power Supply Issue, there is a CPU power connector in SMPS (Power Supply) If this connector is not working then no display shows on monitor. see the 4 pin CPU power connector in pin

3. Motherboard

In Some Cases It may Be Motherboard fault. some time motherboard get  heat and due to this heating some component of motherboard can be damage. So please  

4. CPU ( processor )
In some cases it may be processor(CPU) Fault. If processor is not working properly then "No Display" issue will occur

5. Monitor
Some time It may be monitor issue. Sometimes the monitor turning on and green light is also blinking or stable, but it can be the problem of picture tube of monitor. 

6. CMOS battery
A single battery installed on mother board which is called CMOS battery. This battery gives the power to the watch, always update time when PC is turned off. this battery can be the reason for no display issue. 

Solution   

1. First of all, clean up RAM and check again, if the display is not present then you can check Ram by putting it on another computer. Or check with the other Ram on the same computer.If your RAM is checked on another computer and the display is coming to that computer, it means your ram is correct.It is sure that your ram is right. Now you have to check the other thing in computer

2. Now you should check another power supply in your computer if display come then you have to purchase new SMPS (power supply) The CPU power connector of your power supply has been damaged.So now you have to change the power supply.But the power supply was changed even when the display did not come, So now you read the solution No.3

3. Sometimes there is no display due to dust accumulation in the processor.Now you have to open the processor and clear its dust,Now connect it again on Motherboard. If the display is not present then Read the Solution no. 4

4. Now you have to check the monitor.There is a way to check the monitor, its name is POST (Power On Self Test). For post. first of all disconnect VGA cable from CPU, Now turn on the monitor, If no signal massage is coming on the monitor then your monitor is OK

5. If you have  tried that 4 solutions even then the display did not come, that means the commuter's motherboard has been damaged. Now You have to change motherboard 

So friends these are the 5 possible reason and solution for no display issue of computer. In my other post i will describe the each solution in brief. be careful while testing hardware's.
